RETURN & REFUND POLICY

 

UNROOTD CHAPTRS, a brand owned and operated by VGSL Corporation.

Effective Date: April 1, 2026

 

Scope

 

This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through the UNROOTD CHAPTRS website and forms an integral part of our Terms of Service.

UNROOTD CHAPTRS is a registered trademark of VGSL Corporation, a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.

 

14-Day Return Window

 

We accept returns within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of delivery.

Return requests must be initiated through our official return portal within this period. Returns requested after fourteen (14) days from delivery will not be accepted, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

 

Eligibility Conditions

 

To be eligible for a return, items must:

·       Be unworn, unused, and unwashed

·       Be free from makeup, fragrance, deodorant marks, stains, or visible signs of wear

·       Have all original tags attached

·       Be returned in their original packaging

·       Be in the same condition as received

Returns must be initiated through the official return portal. Items returned without prior authorization through the return portal may be refused and returned to the sender at the customer’s expense.

VGSL Corporation reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether returned items meet the eligibility conditions set forth in this Policy.

VGSL Corporation reserves the right to refuse returns or restrict future purchases from customers demonstrating excessive, abusive, or fraudulent return behavior.

 

Final Sale Items

 

The following Products are considered final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund except in the case of a manufacturing defect or where required by applicable law:

·       Limited Edition Products (designated as such on the relevant product page; produced from a single limited fabric run and not reproduced)

·       Atelier-order Products purchased after expiration of the cancellation window set forth in our Terms of Service, in respect of pre-dispatch cancellation

Limited Edition Products and atelier-order Products that have been delivered to the customer remain eligible for the standard 14-day return window upon delivery, subject to the eligibility conditions set forth above.

 

Atelier Orders — Cancellation Before Dispatch

 

Atelier-order Products may be cancelled by the customer within the cancellation window set forth in our Terms of Service (currently fourteen (14) calendar days from the order confirmation date). After expiration of that window, the atelier order is committed to production and may no longer be cancelled.

Once an atelier-order Product has been dispatched, it is governed by the standard return procedure set forth in this Policy.

 

Return Procedure

 

All returns must be initiated through our official return portal at unrootdchaptrs.com.

Upon submission and approval of the return request, customers will receive a prepaid return shipping label.

Returns must be sent to the designated U.S. return address provided through the return portal. Returns sent to unauthorized addresses will not be accepted.

Customers must use the prepaid label provided. VGSL Corporation is not responsible for returns shipped using unauthorized methods.

Customers remain responsible for the item until it is received at the designated return facility. VGSL Corporation is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit unless shipped using the prepaid label provided through the official return portal.

 

Inspection and Processing

 

All returned items are subject to inspection upon arrival at the designated return facility.

Please allow up to ten (10) business days from receipt of the returned item for inspection and processing.

Refunds or exchanges will only be issued once the returned item has been inspected and approved.

If a returned item does not meet the eligibility conditions set forth above, the return will be refused and the item will be shipped back to the customer at the customer’s expense. No refund will be issued in such case.

 

Refunds

 

Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.

Once a return has been approved following inspection, refunds are processed within fourteen (14) business days.

Original outbound shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

VGSL Corporation is not responsible for any foreign transaction fees, currency conversion charges, or banking fees applied by the customer’s financial institution.

 

Store Credit Option

 

Customers may elect to receive store credit instead of a monetary refund at the time of initiating a return.

Store credit will be issued at one hundred ten percent (110%) of the returned item’s purchase value.

Store credit:

·       Is non-transferable

·       Is not redeemable for cash

·       Does not expire

 

Exchanges

 

Exchanges are offered for size changes or replacement of identical items, subject to product availability.

For Limited Edition Products, exchanges are not available due to the limited nature of production.

For atelier-order Products, exchanges may be subject to the next available production wave.

If the requested item or size is unavailable, a refund or store credit will be issued.

 

Defective or Damaged Items

 

If an item is received damaged or with a suspected manufacturing defect, the customer must notify us in writing within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery by contacting care@unrootdchaptrs.com.

The notification must include:

·       The order number

·       A detailed description of the issue

·       Clear photographic evidence of the alleged defect or damage

Failure to notify VGSL Corporation within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery may result in the claim being denied, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

Upon review and preliminary validation of the claim, VGSL Corporation will provide further instructions. If the claim is accepted, the item must be returned in accordance with the standard return procedure described in this Policy, unless otherwise expressly authorized in writing by VGSL Corporation.

VGSL Corporation reserves the right to issue a prepaid return shipping label directly to the customer for defective or damaged items.

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, VGSL Corporation will, at its sole discretion:

·       Provide a replacement item (subject to availability), or

·       Issue a refund to the original method of payment

All refunds are processed in accordance with the timelines and procedures set forth in this Policy.

Damage resulting from misuse, improper handling, normal wear and tear, alterations, or failure to follow care instructions shall not be considered a manufacturing defect.

 

Limited Manufacturing Warranty

 

VGSL Corporation provides a six (6) month limited warranty against manufacturing defects, including structural stitching faults or hardware failures, commencing on the date of delivery.

This warranty does not cover:

·       Normal wear and tear

·       Accidental damage

·       Improper care or failure to follow care instructions

·       Alterations made to the garment

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to care@unrootdchaptrs.com with supporting documentation, including the order number and clear photographic evidence of the alleged defect.

This limited warranty is provided in addition to, and does not exclude or limit, any rights the customer may have under applicable consumer protection law, including without limitation the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. § 2301 et seq.) and applicable state implied warranty law. Except as expressly set forth in this warranty and except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise, VGSL Corporation disclaims all other warranties, whether express or implied, in accordance with the Disclaimer of Warranties set forth in our Terms of Service.
